Summary of "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time"

The book "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time" is about 15-year-old Christopher, who lives alone with his dad in Swindon, a town in England (Info time + country). He has a pet, is interested in the nature and dreams of becoming an astronaut. All these facts let you suppose Christopher is just a normal teenager. But he isn't. He has the Asperger's syndrome. In his case it means, that he has problems with lots of human beings, but is very good in maths and science. He sees things differently, just from a logical and not from an emotional perspective. Two years ago, his mother died suddenly, because she had problems with her heart. So Christopher has to solve the problems in his life with his father, his teacher Siobhan or alone. One day he finds his neighbour's dog Wellington lying dead on the lawn and decides to seek the murderer, catch him and write a murder mystery novel about it. Noticeable inspired by Sherlock Holmes, he does a lot of detecting. His father doesn't like this and tells him to stop his work. But Christopher wants to find the murderer and does more detecting. While doing this, he discovers lots of different mysteries, which are very painful sometimes...
