Summary - Holes Lea

The Book “Holes“ is about a 15-year-old boy Stanley Yelnats, who lives with a luckless father and his mother. But this harmony stops when some sneakers from a famous Baseball  player falls down upon Stanleys head. They were given for a charity and Stanley is accused of the theft. In court, he can decide if he wants to go into prison or in a Camp. When he arrives at Camp Green Lake, there is nothing than some tents, one house and a wide land with no lake. Over the day, every kid has to dig a hole which is five feet deep and five feet wide. After a while, he realizes that there is more than only building their characters.
Over one hundred years ago there was a famous Lady called Kate Barlow. She killed rich people, robbed their jewellery and hid the things somewhere around the lake.
One day, one of Stanley's friends, “Zero“ escapes from the Camp and Stanley searches for him in the desert of dust and holes. When he finds him, they return with the idea of searching the interesting things about Kate, because Stanley found something before in a hole. But the Warden catches them as they find a bag. In the meantime, a police officer with a lawyer of Stanley come and uncover the criminal circumstances in the camp: Stanley is declared innocent.
