Carol Lynch Williams was born in Lincoln, Nebraska. Beside Nebraska she also lived in North Carolina, Utah, Indiana, Florida and England. She's the winner of Nebraska's Golden Sower Award and she won the Utah Original Writing Competition four times.

She wrote lots of novels for young people.
At this time she lives in Utah with her husband and seven children.
Year 9 "Gymnasium" reads 18 different books in English for young readers and presents them in this blog. This is one part of their presentation, the other one will be orally held in class.
