background information about Meg Rosoff

Meg Rosoff, born in 1956 in Boston, is an american author. She has written three books ("How i live now", "Just in Case" & "What I was") and received many awards for them.
Meg Rosoff studied three years in Harvard, but she didn't like Harvard much and always thought she had to get away from there. After Harvard she attended the art academy in London - where she got to know here contemporary husband - for one year and finally moved to New York, to work in advertising.
1989 she planned to move to London for three months, but stayed and is still living there with her husband and her daughter. When her youngest sister died of breast cancer she realizied: if she was going to write a book, she had to do it soon, because life is short. And thats what she did.
